YAWATA H-800 (For Earth & Sand Abrasion)
Classification : DIN 8555 : E 6-UM-65
Approvals : TIS
Applications : Surfacing of dredger pump mouths, impellers, liners and cutter knives.
YAWATA H-800 is a low hydrogen type electrode to give extremely hard deposited metal due to dispersedly precipitated borides and carbides. Although it is not suitable for impact abrasion since deposited metal tends to crack, it shows excellent resistance to earth and sand abrasion.

1. Use dry electrodes only. Damp electrodes should be re-dried at 300~350℃ for 60 minutes before use.
2. Preheating at more than 200℃ is required.
3. Multi-layer welding is not recommended. It should be used for the surfacing of the final layer.
